Well I hate to sound like the hack idiot on this post <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />, but prior to the solid axle swap I managed to fit (quite comfortably) 35" tires on stock front IFS and a one inch body lift. I think I had cranked 3 1/2- 4 inches out of the stock t-bars. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> I don't think I'd ever recommend it, but I never had any problems other than a stiffish ride and I wheeled the snot out of that IFS. The only think that went bad was ONE cv boot while going over Wolf Creek in the snow and that's after about two and a half years of being cranked. Again I wouldn't recommend that much to anyone except maybe my worst enemy. But it just goes to show that it probably isn't going to hurt to do a half inch.
