okay, sheer dumb luck got me to stumble on this answer....i was thinking maybe the coil was goin badd, so i was looking at to get an idea of what i needed to order and i noticed the wires on the coil's blade connectors were loose, so i got the pliers and tightened them up...what do you know it starts and runs with no problems.
