I'm just resurrecting this post to provide a possible alternative solution: I was having problems with acceleration and stalling that my mechanic solved by cleaning the carbon build up. He suggested that I regularly use one of the top tier gas brands (go to www.toptiergas.com for more information). Long story short, after a few tank fulls the Rodeo is running as smooth as the day it was built with no stalling or acceleration issues at all.
