did you guys use single, 4, or 6 led bulbs? site linked above says the 6 led units are about equal to the stock bulbs. are the others too dim?

To make it easier unhook to speedo cable from the firewall clip to give you more slack to play with the disconnection-connection of the speedo cable-cluster

You know whats funny is there is no speedo cable on third gens <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

the panel is pretty easy to pull out, undo the piece under the steering wheel and dont forget there is a hidden bolt behind the heater contols to the uper right. when you are pulling the upper dash that goes around the panel i find it easier to squeze the top of the dash at the seem and pull, pops right out. Than unhook all the wires for clutch cancel, light dimmer, and hazard light.

Just a note that had me stumped for a few hours. When you put the lights in instinct tells you to check them before you put the dash back together. well i did this and for some reason the lights would not work at all when i turned the light switch on. couldn't figure it out for the life of me till i went to turn the heater down before bed and bing!!! light bulb moment. For the light to work you have to hook the light dimmer back up. I think what did it was when i heard the resitor pot in side the thermostat do the ping sound it hit me like a ton of bricks was pretty funny really knocked me backwards a few steps.
