I take exception to 'handling it like adults'.
I do not think you did. You assailed the extremists for a couple points of hypocrisy, congratulated yourselves for only doing this on private already-torn-up land, and called my comments high horse.

The parallel is like the commercials that promote mudhole slamming, hillclimbs, driving across virgin territory, taking a truck on top of Devil's Tower. No disclaimer, no TreadLightly! message, just buy our vehicle and you can be a real man like these drivers in our commercial.

You did not mention private land in your original post - not that that makes it OK! You did not mention it being an old gravel pit. Not until you were called out.

It's time to take responsibility for what you are promoting and what it is doing to our sport, completely, maturely, and like people who care what kind of world you are building. You wanna call me a nazi for saying it, you wanna say I'm on a high horse, then I say,

Thank you.

If not all of the above, go somewhere else please.

I don't hold these values because of Greenpeace and I am not bowing to some environmentalist. I hold these values because they matter and they are MINE and should be YOURS. I am ZERO-TOLERANCE on tearing it up and promoting same.
