I assume when you removed the fuel filter you cranked the motor and saw fuel spraying, correct?


Next step is to check for spark.

Get a 12v test light, ground it, and put it on the positive terminal on your coil. Crank the motor. Does it flash? If so, then your igniter is working. If not, either your igniter is bad or its not getting power.

Put a spark tester on the spark plug to see if your getting spark to the plug. If no spark at the plug, could be in the distributor. If your getting spark at the plugs, its probably fuel related. Injectors might not be firing.

An easy way to see if its fuel related is to get a can of starting fluid, and spray it in the throttle body and see if it fires. If so, then you know its not getting fuel.
