Hello,

Are there any markings to show if a Gen 1 rear end has an LSD or not? I've checked my books and the FAQ's but find no information. I'd rather not disassemble available spares if there's another way. [color:"black"] [/color]

Thanks,

Look for these markings on top and below...

I have another question, about the same as the Rich's. Found a 90 LS LWB, I haven't checked it out but the rear axel should have a Limited Slip Diff. correct?

Any info would help, I plan on checkin' it out this afternoon. Will buy if it has a LSD, and part out the rest.

Thanks <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />

I would have to check. I dont think the 90 LWB I am parting out has any of the off road package (LSD).

Do you think the average stormtrooper knows how to install a toilet main? All they know is killing and white uniforms.

Thanks for the reply, yeah I have a 91 RS, and the rear axel is open, but I figured if the 90 LS has a LSD it would be a good buy for parts.

All the '90 LS's with headlight washers and bouncy seats had lsd's. Mine does. RS was a base model in 91 only maybe. LS had the bells and whistles.

Body Damage is Cool
The headlight washers will tell the story. If they're there - LSD; if not - nope.
