Getting the Wheeling Fever

Motor is gone, any suggestions as what to snag? ECU under stereo pod worth getting? Tailgate is gone but topper still there with nice side slider frames. No skid plate, grrr. Got a perfect AC trim plate, clock, fan swith, and the heater core flow diverter for $6! Sweet!

Get the fuel pump assembly, coil/igniter, AFM, Whatever else you can get. Diffs, Driveshafts, etc.

check the diff codes! if you run larger than stock tires with the 22re(like me), thats alot of why its gutless. im pretty sure all 3.0 auto runners came with 4.56 gears.
off-road.com has a gear code ID page, iirc
'94 X-Cab, EB inside and a few fabbed parts. My wife: "How about you stay on the road?" Me: "I drive a Toyota truck, the road is OPTIONAL!"

im pretty sure all 3.0 auto runners came with 4.56 gears.
off-road.com has a gear code ID page, iirc Nope, many had 4.10s. I got an unfortunate surprise about this last summer.

off-road.com has a gear code ID page, iirc Nope, many had 4.10s. I got an unfortunate surprise about this last summer. and some have 4.88's, that's how i got my diffs. but im unsure if they had them before 1990.
87 22R PU, 2? body lift, 33? BFG muds, 4.88's, F&R Lock-Rights, Rancho Shocks, EB's Street RV Head w/ 268 Cam, LCE Header, 2" to 2 1/4" exhaust, Flowmaster 50 series, Magnaflow high flow cat, complete Herculined SR5 interior, V6 BB, MC, and calipers.

If it's an 86, it was either a 22RE or a 22RTE.
The gears were either 4.10:1 or 4.30:1, depending on transmission.
