I did that with one of mine. Couldn't get the idle to come down. Finally traced it to a bad TPS sensor. I got a TB from a yard, slapped it on and no mo problem. I got the one cause I played with the idle screw so I had no clue where it was stock.


Thanks for the help. I have replaced the TPS and the ICS, cleaned the TB really well. I have had the ECU check out and it was fine. I must have a vacuum leak but I can't find it. My assumption is that it is leaking somewhere in the TB.

about this. There is some sort of wax pellet that controls air in the TB during cold operation. I don't know if this is part of my problem cause mine stays at 2k hot or cold.
