If you go wheeling a couple of times a year, get the 4.56's. If you wheel a lot and don't mind very high rpms while on the highway, get the 4.88's.

You will be suprised at how much better it feels on the trails. I just went from 3.58's to 4.30's and it is a world of difference on the trails and daily driving. It is much slower on the trails and doesn't feel like it is straining to get up stuff.

Quick question - Were you at Uwharrie 2 weekends ago wheeling with the Isuzus?
