The dealer is given flexibility to some degree. he might not be able to drop the price because his manager or dealership has listed a quota. however, sometimes the can offer up a higher trade in value if you are trading something in. I have been looking at trading my 2000 4.7 tundra in for the new 5.7 beast, but havent been able to find any "DEALS" yet. but the key is call arround, check other dealers, surf the net, and dont forget to look at other states, Ie.
