Are you running a front locker?

If you jack up the front and then spin the front wheel with hub locked, you should be able to tell if the CV is binding up or not. If it is, just space the bump with some washers from ACE hardware or Home Depot. I have balljoint spacers that allow extra travel, but I wouldn't think with your setup this will be a big problem.
