ACTUALLY THEY ARE NOT HARD TO INSTALL, I SAW ONE A FEW YEARS AGO, A GUY HAD DONE , HAD MANUAL STEERING AND NO AIR. IT WAS IN AN 89 SHORT BED AND BOLTED RIGHT UP TO THE 2.3 TRANS , THE ONLY SHORT COMING IS THE CLUTCH IS KINDA SMALL AND NO FLYWHEEL IS AVAILABLE THAT WOULD LET YOU USE THE TRUCK CLUTCH SET UP, , AS IT WAS FRO A 21 00 LB CAR, BUT THIS THING RAN GREAT AND HE SWORE IT GOT AN AVERAGE 36-40 MPG WITH OUT EVEN TRYING , AND THAT WAS WITH THE 4.11 GEARS ,, I THINK A NEAT SWAP WOULD BE TO GO WITH THE 4.56 GEARS AND THE 4PSD AUTOMATIC FROM THE IMPULSE , A TRUCK WITH MANUAL STEERIGN SHOULD BE A PIECE OF CAKE ,A.C. WAS AVAILABLE ON THE CAR BUT NEVER PWR STR. THE 2.4 I THINK WOULD BE A GREAT ENG IF YOU LAY YOUR HANDS ON ONE JERRY
