Well I saw this in the paper the other day, and yesterday my dad went and looked at it, and bought it for me, I guess as a graduation gift. It is all taken apart, because the owner was going to rebuild it all, but after painting and sandblasting the frame he found a newer one that he wanted more. I paid $400 for it, with everything there to complete it. The only thing that is bad on it is the tub, I am going to try and find a good used one, or get a new one, but too much cash. Does anybody know where there are any Jeep yards that I could get a good tub from. Oh yeah it has the F head 4 cylinder, with 81' wheelbase, and a soft top, which looks like it has never been on the vehicle.

The odds of finding an original tub thats being parted out that isn't in as bad of shape as yours will be slim.
How bad is yours? Pictures?
Call me a purist but I like to keep as much original sheet metal as I can.

I actually haven't even seen it yet, my dad told me about it, and when I came back from work yesterday he told me that he bought it for me. I am going to go pick it up on Saturday so pics on Sunday. He said that we will be able to patch it with some sheet metal, but I was considering that if it was too bad to just get another one, but probably won't happen. I want to keep it looking original, but also want to four wheel with it, so it will get a lift and some bigger shoes. Yep I only have until end of May then in August it is off to Rosedale Tech. for Diesel Mechanic.

Even if you have big rust holes, like you could put foot through the floorboard, there are several companies that sell complete panels that can be welded onto your old body. Check out either Four Wheel Drive Hadware in Columbiana, OH, or Quadratec in West Chester, PA.
1977 CJ-7, fiberglass body, AMC 360 w/ headers, DUI ignition, Edelbrock intake and Holley 4150 carb, TF999, Dana 300, 4.56 gears lockers, York air comp, 4" susp lift, 2" body lift, BFG 35" M-T tires, Megashifter, AGR pump & box, REP8000 winch.

Well I got it to my house yesterday, the rust is kinda bad, but since it is all flat we are just going to weld sheet metal in there, it will look fine, I am very suprised the soft top and doors are in excelent shape.

I know sorry I had my camera with me the whole time loading it, and I still forgot to get pics, it is going to rain here and can't don't want to uncover it, so I will try to get some pics of it by the end of the week. There isn't much to see except two boxes, a coffee can of nuts and bolts, Frame, tub, and the drivetrain. I think I am going to need some help reassembling, I bet I have a couple of nuts and bolts left. Oh yeah I almost forgot, did those come with an hour meter originally, cause I have one, and my brother said that he thought that I might have a PTO but I didn't think so, all I know is that it says Spicer on it, I haven't read about the drivetrain at all yet.

Well I am in the stage already of needing to order some parts, does anybody know of any good magazines or websites to get some older jeep parts. I don't need much yet, but still need to get ready for when the time comes. Oh yeah pics will be up for Friday.
