This probably is not your problem, but I had a mystery clunk in the Amigo a few years ago. Every time I stopped or turned a corner kinda hard. I could have sworn my shock was loose, or something else in the front end was bad. It was so bad, it was literally driving me nuts! I was about to pull my hair out (if I had any...)

One day, I was cleaning the Amigo up, and I noticed that under the passenger seat, under the carpet, there was a small recessed area about 4 inches square, and an inch or two deep. It just so happened that a rock that we had collected on our of our trips (hey, what can I say, it was kinda pretty), had managed to fall in there.

It was just big enough to be able to roll 1/3 turn forward or side to side...
