On mine, plug the red probe into the 10ADC plug (black probe stays in the COM plug) and set the dial to "10A" and then pull the + cable off the battery and hook one meter probe to the cable and one to the battery + post and measure away.

pull off the positive cable... have a buddy hold the lead to the positive of the battery and the positive battery cable. pull each fuse one at a time and see what fuse or fuses that drop the draw current then take it from there.
if this happened out of the blue I would guess battery.
