Doesn't look like it has power steering. PITA to steer manually, especially with those M/T's (why the Mt's anyways?)

I don't think any of the carbinated 2wd's had power steering. Mine doesn't. I'm buying all the stuff from a buddy for $50 bucks though to put it in.

25 mpg is a bit disappointing, but i currently get around 27 mpg using the required premium gas in my integra. so 25 in the truck is about the same cost wise. i didnt think about looking for p/s. i'll ask him that tonight.
i have NO idea why there are kumho venture m/t's on it. i guess he thought they looked cool. same thing w/ the brush guard. i would want it to look stock, and get the best gas mileage possible.

It IS a carbie, so it's gonna get slightly better on the highway than the EFI rigs (don't ask me why, it just seems to happen). If you do wind up getting it, I have an Addco rear swaybar I'll sell you for cheap. It started on my friend's 89 2WD and made that thing handle better than most things this side of a factory sportscar. It's been fun on my truck, but I've got to admit a 4WD is just not supposed to have add-ons that limit flex. I'll be getting a car for the road stuff in a year or so here. Besides, can't discount familiarity and parts availability. I'm massively biased, but I'd go for it <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I think the DLX pickups had power steering (mine does), but the base models didn't. With a carb in an '89, it's deffinatly a question to ask. If you can get the price down, have fun with it!

one of the main reasons i wanted another toyota pickup is b/c if anything goes wrong w/ it, i know i can fix it myself. plus after looking over the team-integra.net forums for a couple of months, i realized i don't want to be associated w/ that community. very little knowledge over there, and everyone is about 16.
but the guy emailed me back and told me it doesn't have power steering or a/c. and i really wanted a/c b/c my truck doesn't have it lol. i do have an extra compressor though. if i can get him down to at least $2750 though, i think ill buy it.
