I have been wanting to do something insane with my Raider since I got it and have been reading the posts here religiously. I had this need to modify my rig like my buddies in their Jeeps and Zookies and Toyotas. FINALLY.. I have found it... I have read enough on this site about which V6 or V8 fits and now I have found the ingredients for this:

The truck is going into the shop in about a months time. I have been lucky enough to find locally almost everything I need.

-Choice of Chev V8 or Ford V8 with matching transmissions
-Choice of transfer cases, probably going with the NP231
-Choice of axles.. yes.. SOLID Front
-35" tires... still want to drive on the road!
