F.E., Lloyd Swartz used to run one, but with generally negative reports...could maybe have been from hard use/lack of maintenance, though. He was/is running 35's, also.

What is the part # for Mitsu brand bushings?

There isn't a dealer in these parts so I have to order from rockville.

I run 31s and use the Raider daily use ,,,very little off road.

As for using a steering box , don't you have to use an English right hand side box??

For steering box use, just mount it in the 3 holes for idler arm & swap the pitman arm 180 degrees. Might need some disassembly, too.

The moog is just a re-packaged part from Japan. Mine did not last very long. I found that the factory arm and bushings held up better. From what I saw the factory bushings were a bit harder.

I dont have access to a lathe and a mill since I moved so I wont be converting any more arm for a while.

Need a Spot
kinda glad i came across this thread becouse i was about to
purchase a complete idlearm asymbly from the dealership, gonna be my 2nd one in fact. i had no idea that the i can possibly replace the bushings inside. i was wondering if anyone has tried or thought of replacing the bushings with polyeurothane bushings. i always see those polyeurothane swaybar kits in different diameters at Pepboys and other parts store. maybe having that type of composition will hold up longer. does anyone know what the diameters are becouse i would like to look into it.
