Yeah... I didn't like the 15-amp fuse idea! The system was designed for 10-amps and the last thing I need is a BBQ'd Runner!

Yes... while everything is working, everything is normal. All of the 4Runner and trailer lights work, blinkers, brake lights, too. I am going to hook it up and see how long it takes to blow the fuse... leave the lights on, then add a blinker, then the hazards, and if it's still working at that point, I'll hold my foot on the brake pedal.

1> Trailer was made in Utah (I'm in Colorado) and I bought it from a motorcycle dealer. I'm going to take it over to a trailer/RV place and have them check it out.

2> The tow kit is a Hidden Hitch brand "plug n play" unit that has factory connectors and a built in converter... made specifically for '96 -'02 4Runners.

3> If I installed that incorrectly, I shouldn't even be driving! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> The install was VERY simple and I have pulled other trailers without problem.
