i think you'll need to tap a hole for the knock sensor? and a couple of other minor differences. i know the efi will bolt up. the blocks/heads are basically the same structurally. and of course you wont need the mech fuel pump.

if both inexperienced with engine swapping, it could very well take more than a weekend especially because you don't always have/know what part(s) you may need to replace or wether or not they are available to you. if it were me, download a fsm and read it over with your buddy before you dive in.

if you have'nt already, be sure to check everything else to be sure that the work you are preparing to do is a necessary venture. (the fsm should help with that too) may the force be with you...
