My tropper is a 87 2.3L 4cyl, engine block has been rectified and all valves and seals replaced.

I am looking for a replacement of the stock carb.

After some research it seems that the way to go is a for a Weber conversion, but I would like to get some input in regards emissions (considering that the engine has been overhauled) since the vehicle is mainly for street use purposes.

It also seems that the weber carb will provide better mileage but I would appreciate your input as well.

And finally, it seems that the right conversion kit for the 2.3L is the WK697 (32/36 DGEV) as listed on weber's site:

And Indy4x:

But there's also the WK697-38 (38 DGES)

Which seems to fit the 2.3L as well, there is also a considerable difference in price, so I'm wondering if anybody out there could provide some insight on the differences.

Thx in Advance!
