88 Shorty, 2" body lift, 33"x10.5x16 Goodyear MTR's on American racing 16" Nitros. I still have to install my belton suspension kit which is worth another 2.5" of lift. ![[Linked Image]](http://cn4xc.com/groupee_files/photo_albums/9/7/4/9741070602/8131005632_DF93580CBF0E086B2005491022EDF128.JPG)

i'm close to looking for some rims black ones but i don't know where to look online for something for the raider
i haven't done much research on what would fit on my stock 87 raider i know i could fit some 31's on the stocks but i want black rims and a tire to go with them
could someone recommend something my truck will see more road then mud so i don't wanna over kill the budget but i do want some big mud tires because i have a mud pit A set of 15x8 or 15x10's should work. I run 15x8 with 3.75" of backspacing for my 33x12.5 MT KM's. Also, there are going to certainly be some differences between your leaf sprung suspension and my coil sprung one but I'll let someone who has this model speak up for those details. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Sc0rp10n,
Just curious which fender flares you're using?
91Montero,
Did you figure out what combo you're doing with? If you want, I can post up a recent pic of my 89 with 33x12.5x15 MT KM's, 2" body lift and 1.5" suspension lift (torque'd the torsion bars and used gen II coils). Yea, pics are always great. I found a local coil/spring guy that put on some stiffer rear springs with a couple inches of lift and he cranked my t-bars and ground off the bump stops for me for a 1 1/2" lift or so on the front. Nice! It only cost me $200!! That was the cheapest lift I've ever done. I like the tire to fit inside the wheel well rather than poke out the sides (good for keeping the mud and rocks off the body too) so I am thinking of going with the BFG M/T 33X10.5 on stock alloys like the blacked out one posted by sasnydley on page 2. It's pretty bad $@#! My truck is an LS, LWB, champagne color with a full length Wilderness rack. It's in excellent shape (only 93K miles) I'm stoked about it except for the cost of the tires <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" />, thanks everyone for your pics and help. Some great looking Montero's out there. I am glad to see so many others keeping them running and looking good and wheeling them like they should be. It won't be long before these vehicles are rare and collectible in my opinion. Especially now that Montero has been dropped from the U.S. market. I'll post pictures if I can find a way I don't have a web site with pics on it-can't figure out how to post pics otherwise. Peace

I use montypics.com
The owner (Paul) is a current/former Mitsu Montero owner. I'm not sure but the last I recall he was selling it for a larger SUV (growing family).
FWIW, some sites like Yahoo who have free photo albums don't allow for direct linking in a forum.
Also there are some free sites that do allow direct linking. I pay montypics $25/yr for unlimited "linkable" picture storage. Not as good as free but $25's nothing and I'm giving it to a friend so I'd rather do that. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

photobucket.com is really easy to use and free. It gives you the url and html code that you just click on and it saves it to clipboard for you.

Fleabob, you need to use the img /img or image /image ubb code. PM me if you don't know it. Also here are a couple of recent pics. Sorry but the torsion bars are still not cranked so the back is higher by 1.5" still in these pics.
