The same? It's actually the same bell housing you got with your engine tranny combo. IIRC you have a MUA5 behind your 4JB1-T. But I've never seen a 4JB1-T up close.
I know it's rare.
I have a new MUA5 I put Tera Lows in just for the 2.2L TD / MUA5 application. I've been collecting parts for this 86 Troop for over three years. Even have an 89 frame to put under it.

Did you ever compare the bell housing on the 4JB1-T to the transmission you pulled out of your truck?

I'd love to have a 4JB1-T for my 4 door Trooper project. THis way I should be able to bolt in the 4JB once I get my hands on one.

Only problem I have now is too many projects and not enough time to work on them all. But, it's getting better!
