Sorry to have to tell you this, but you don't want a C223 2.2L TD in a Jeep Cherokee. You'd be dissapointed in it's performance with the little pooper motor. Too little for that heavier truck. Hell, It's really not enough motor for the Trooper. But, If you were to get a 2.8 L like Adrian did, or a 3.0L, you'd be worlds ahead and a happy camper.
His came with an MUA with his 2.8 also.

Ya'll hang in there. I promise to make a collage of the front bell housings for the Trooper engines. With my pictures and Adrians from his Web Site I think we can show the engine side of the different Isuzu Trooper bell housings.

2.8L gas GM BH which also fits the 3.4L GM motor and the 3.4L Olds diesel
2.6L gas BH
2.2L Diesel BH
and maybe a
3.2 BH
