This seems off to me. If it has a backspacing of 4.5", then it should stick out 5.5" (4.5+ 5.5= 10) Unless I am missing something.

Either way, I would go with the 8" rim. An 8" has more flexability in sizes that are more appropriate for our trucks. You can go from a 265/75-295, or a 10.5-12.5" wide tire. the 10" is mainly good for 12.5"+ That means that if you ever decided that the 12.5" had too much drag, or was too wide, you would have to sell off the 10" rims.
