I'm very happy with how the truck performed over the weekend. As to be expected, it was a little tiring driving in high winds, but oh well <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />. Logged on over 1k driving to and from MN to wheel.

The first low range (2.72:1) is an excellent improvement over the stock gearing. I only ran in low^2 once and it was so I could do a controlled crawl through an off camber spot.

The larger tires affect the driving performance, but not nearly enough for me to worry about it. I did manage 15mpg on my way to MN. It was much worse on the return because I had my foot in it <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> and I was fighting the wind more.
