Need a Spot
I have an older XJ (90) and my L turn signal cancels just fine on its own but the R one has to be cancelled manually.
Anyone know how to fix this and before someone says it I will say I searched before posting this question.
I don't want to look like an eighty year old with my turn signal on for a hundred miles so help me fix this.

I think the repair is on the front side bottom of the steering column. An adjustment may be all you need to do.

Body Damage is Cool
On my old CJ, a problem such as you describe would reqire changing the turn signal switch inside the top of the steering column. If fact, I have done it twice.

Unfortunately, I have no experience with XJ's, so I don't know how yours is set up.

Have you purchased an aftermarket repair manual for your model?
