Have you considered building up the bottom of the front bulkhead to make up for the cuts you made to clear the radiator?

I'm not sure how critical that lower yoke/beam is to rigidity of the front clip, but I wound up clearancing the radiator side tanks and keeping the bulkhead mostly un-touched. The body mounts connected to the frame may provide enough structure... dunno.

If it's any consolation, here in MN one of the first things to rot away is that radiator support. On my gas '88, it's completely rotted in half with no noticeable change to the surrounding bodywork. I think it will be fine.
