"Technical Difficulty" pt.2
I found I need to rod my radiator as I had overheating issues. Fortunately, everyone had plenty of water (bottled water at that from Kris & Joanna) and we also wired up the AC fan to keep her cool. After wiring up the AC fan my rid didn't have overheating issues however we did this near the end of the run so I can't be absolutely sure that it will work for a long term fix so I'm gonna swap in my good radiator and have this one rodded.

Ray, If you dont move your radiator down 2" to compensate for your body lift and put the fan shroud back on the radiator your going to overheat no matter how much you rod the radiator. At slow speeds your getting zero airflow. Also the fact that you were not able to shift your transmission selector to Low (due to body lift) was probably contributing to the problem as the tranny will upshift and work the engine harder during slow crawls. I hope youre better prepared for the sierras..this is rookie stuff man <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />
