The drain plug might be a bit quirky, meaning easy to strip. The first time you try to remove it, it might already feel cross threaded. Even if it doesn't, it's best to go slow. The first time you remove it: For every 1/4 turn of the wrench counter clockwise, turn it back in the same amount until it's removed. Get yourself a crushwasher for the last fill.
