Is there a way to lower my idle RPM from 1200 to factory spec 800 without retarding the timing? I've cleaned the injectors, smog report says O2 sensor is fine..air screw turned all the way in...what now? Sorry if this is a repeat but didn't see anything in the archives..

check IAC (Idle Air Control) or TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) That was the culprit in my high idle.
Good Luck!

Did you replace it?

I replaced the IAC and all was well after that. I hear you can clean it using brake cleaner, but never tried it. I bought my replacement from Dough's old truck. Using an old one is really hit or miss.
