That's what I wanted to know. The system is similar to my wife's Rodeo, then. Our Rodeo doesn't have the diff lock, though. Anyway, I understand the desire for 4 hi in slick conditions, but can't driving in 4wd at high rates of speed/all times damage the system? At the least it HAS to be rough on the tires, right? I wouldn't run my trucks that way.

Back on topic, with the system working the way it does, I do agree that your CVs COULD be suspect. Gotta check it out, man...
