Getting the Wheeling Fever

Gents,

I have read a lot of conflicting information on which years the top shifting, 4 cylinder, gear driven transfer cases were offered. I am looking to pick up some used T-cases for an Ultimate Marlin setup and am confused as to which years to focus on.

Any help would be appreciated.
