Another loser.

2600 is too much, wise choice.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Need a Spot
Is the car only worth 500 because of the potential problem with the coolant? Or are you saying that the vehicle is only worth $500 because of the age and condition?

Sounds to me that if the car only has 84k, it's very low mileage (not withstanding the cosmetic condition of course).

Just curious. Thanks.

Yep, around here, it'd go for 2600 without the coolant leak. However, with leak, I'd pay under 1000 with the reasoning that I'm not sure how much it'll cost to fix it...

Thats right. 500.00 Id buy it based on the fact Im gonna have to pull the heads to fix the leak. AND then while in there rebuild the heads, water pump, timing belt, front seat...etc etc. the list goes on and on.

We wont mention who knows if it needs brakes all around.

Other than that the vehicle is or looks in above average conditon.

Id send a pix alo with this if someone will explain how I attach one. Ive got a couple stored on my computer.

Are you sure it is the heads / gaskets?
Did you check the oil for coolant contamination?
Did you check the coolant for oil?
Might be the water pipe oring.

Owner said NO leaks. No water in OIL either. Must be burning it up little by little. Said it did get HOT but not up in the red....Might as well have been up in the red as far as Im concerned.
