I'm not getting my Sky Crossmember Pirate install picsto install, I can't get the hoop over the front TC flange, I asked Marlin twice if this was the right plate and they said it is. But I can't get it on. Can anyone look at the pic, or maybe someone has installed one and knows what my problem is (besides the damn thing weighing 5000 lbs). My transfer case sure looks diff than the one in the Pirate pic. (I know it's not much to go on, but It's the only pic I have right now) ![[Linked Image]](http://www.bubendorfer.org/images/misc/sky_install_01.jpg)

Well, Doh. Searched some more, got to Sky's site and found this~ Fits 84-95 4 cyl trucks with manual trans and either daul t case's or single if you don't mind a little extra overhang. Please specify you will be using a single
Well, I guess it's my fault for trusting counter help to give me the right info\part. I should have done my own research and decided exactly what I wanted instead of succumbing to an inpulse purchase while I was on the phone ordering other parts. I guess I get to go put my crossmember back on now.

I think but I may be wrong, the reason you are having a problem is your rig is an auto tranny and the t-case is different then the gear drive t-case. Those x-members are built for manual trannys with gear drive t-cases only I think.

Again I may be wrong but I think that BudBuilt can set his up for the auto tranny. Give Bud a call. http://www.budbuilt.com/new/

Thanks, I'll do that. That was actually the one I asked for while on the phone with Marlin but either they didn't have one or something - can't remember now why I changed my mind. Bad move on my part.
