Well as you know I bought a new daily driver. I did some shopping before making up my mind. As much as economy is good I just am not a car person. Besides I still have Far Enuf the 91 under going a 200,000 mile upgrade. Too Far is no longer a road vehicle and will be being cut up soon to transform into a true dedicated trail rig. But enough background.

So I ended up buying..... yep, a Jeep.

It's a new 4 door Rubicon that has the locking front and rear differentials, D44's front and back plus the 4:1 transfer case.

I worked a deal out with the local fabricator called Nth Degree Mobility, they are big in the Jeep world, to be a #2 prototype for their new 4" lift kit for the JK. I just got the lift completed some new 35's installed and am just as we speak ready to head out the door and drive to Moab.

Here are the pictures.

Here is some pics while at Nth when they were performing a flex test.

I can't wait to get some real trail shots from Moab.

And since it's just a gathering of friends I can leave my Isuzu badge at home.

You can take the man out of the Isuzu but you can't take the Isuzu out of the man.

A bit of trivia for you, if you think the Isuzu after market is weak, Jeep has the other side of the coin, there is tons of stuff out there but a lot of it is pure junk. The hard part is figuring out who is good and who is not.

Need a Spot
That's a really slick ride!
I was reading about your buildup on Reno4x4 and it's amazing how they made it handle better on the road too.

Body Damage is Cool
The last time you were in Moab with a Jeep, Amanda was your trail leader. Would you like me to get her ready to lead you on some trails again????

Finally made my reservations. Had to settle for a nice 3bd/2ba condo down by the golf course. Between pets and kids and friends, and having to dolly Dan's samurai out there, I didn't want to drag the trailer too. We'll be leaving around 1 on Wednesday, hoping to be in Moab by 7 that night.

Thanks guys! Can't wait to see everyone again and wheel this puppy. However I don't think I'll do Moab Rim the first trail out again.

Sure Jeff I'll follow Amanda. Anyone that will ride down high dive with me when Debbie bailed and drives as good as Amanda does can lead any trail I'm on.

We are about to arrive in Salt Lake and spend the night. Hmm, I wonder what Fernando is up to?
