whats a good way to break in front gears? find a dirt road and put it in 4wd? how many miles till i can go wheelin?

It's the heat that kills gears....this just does not happen in front end applications and trail riding....so just wheel the heck out of it. No breaK-IN.

Here is how I did mine:

In short, pulled rear driveshaft, drove in front wheel drive.

Since my rig is trailered I was wondering the same thing. I asked GearMan at River City Diff. about it. He asked me where I was going, I said the Con, he said they will be broken in by the time you reach the Box!!!!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
