Run dedicated power AND ground wires from the battery, fused of course, twist the wires as they run back to the device. Add a noise filter near the device and connect to those power and ground wires. I run my wires down the passenger side, away from the ignition and alternator. No noise and I have a 160 amp PPW alternator.
