Well as far as mods go, at least make sure you can secure your tire, for safety AND theft. Also wrap that chain/cable up, so it doesn't beat your e-brake cable to death back there, if you're not removing the assembly straightaway. (14mm IIRC)

Edit: I noted the rack on the top of my 99 4R is rated for 165#, evenly distributed, so that's something to think about.
