ok...it started when i parked it and returned to find it unable to start. when i put starting fluid in the air intake it would run for as long as it had the starting fluid to run off of. I've replace the sending unit +pump and the fuel pressure regulator. The new pump doesnt pump anything. If i reinstall the original one..it pumps but not with enought pressure. I got a second new fuel pump and it does not pump either. I am at a loss of what to check next please help!

ok...i know this is going to sound like an idiot newbie question...but how do you evacuate air in the fuel lines from changing lines and filter and such?

Body Damage is Cool
There may be a fancy way of doing it, but if it were me....

I'd just run the fuel pump and let gas and air bubbles in the system fork their way forward. If that didn't work, I remove the fuel line from the engine, place a catch basin under the open line, and run the pump again.

Now, one of the guys here who is familiar with fuel injection systems will probably have a slicker answer.
