Looking to replace the bulbs that light up the gauges and the idiot lights in my dash...motivated b/c the "4WD" indicator bulb is burned out...4 wheel drive works, but the indicator doesn't light up.

figure that as long as i am in there, might as well replace all them bulbs b/c i hear its a PITA and don't wannna have to re-do it.

so i spent an hour searching and found this thread:

Anyone care to share some guidance on a few things:
(1) How do I get to my old bulbs to pull em?
(2) What type/size of LED replacements do I order?

For (1) I expect the FSM will help, so I downloaded all the pdf files for the 1993 FSM, but can't tell which part shows how to get at the bulbs?!?!

For (2) I believe I want the LEDs that replace a "194" type bulb but wouldn't mind some confirmation.

Also, anything I am missing or any "lessons learned" from anyone who has done the switchover to LEDs would be appreciated.
