Don't know much about the LED themselves.....but oddly enough, I have a gauges cluster for a '93 (similar to a '92) apart in my garage right now.

The cluster lights use the push in style bulbs. there are actually 2 different sizes and 2 seperate colors (green and white). The bulbs push into these little round plastic sockets and, the sockets screw into the cluster housing. Given that type of setup, I'd think it would be pretty easy to change to LED's.....I've seen larger LED's that would push right into the bigger bulb sockets.....and I'm sure you could find LED's for the smaller bulbs. Not a bad idea, as long s the LED's are bright enough.....LED's last forever and use little power.

....I'm making a custom gauge cluster with after-market oil pressure, temp and battery gauges that actually give measured readings...and I'm swithing the gauge face colors to white (factory gauge faces are black). Should be done in a week or so.
