thanks CORunner for the heads up that there are 2 different sizes/types of bulbs in the cluster. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

am thinking that the bigger, "green" ones are for the guages [speedo/odo, tach, water temp, oil pressure, battery, and fuel] b/c they are all green.
the smaller "white" ones are for the indicator/idiot lights [rear antilock, seatbelt, parking brake, 4WD, check engine, etc.] b/c they each have their own color from the panel.

did find the right section in the FSM for getting at the bulbs.
it is in the body mechanical, at B0-32 thru BO-38.
i was looking in body electrical <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />

but i am still wondering what type of bulbs?
all i can find is a reference to "194" in the LED post
also wondering how many of each bulb?
