Getting the Wheeling Fever

I have a 1993 4wd purchased with 187k. From the beginning, I replaced all fluids, belts, plugs, plug wires, all filters. Tested milage, 16-17mpg. Then replaced, ECT and O2 sensors. No change. Did seafoam in the tank, oil, also tried lucas in the oil. I sucked 3 rounds of seafoam into the vacuum line 2 days ago to clean the carbon. Figured Cat was clogged, (need a muffler anyways), got a good 'ol boy welded me a new muffler and removed my cat yesterday. Also put in a new PCV and grommet. My truck definately has more pep, and smoother ride, and I can actually accelerate in fifth gear up a decent hill now. I have my first full tank in to check milage. Will keep posted. Anything else that yall can think of to help out?

Please put a cat back on. It does NOT affect your mileage and DOES help the environment.
Brian K. Gallus I have nothing important to say.

22RE, the only smog around here is blown in from the thousands of square miles of forest fire going on right now. I smelled it as I walked outside, just after my breakfast of poached spotted owl eggs, with a side of tender fried whooping crane......Lighten up people

16-17 under cold-weather winter conditions is probably about right. This time of year it should be higher. I'm getting 19-20 in mixed city/hwy with my 160k 89 22RE 4x 5-SP xcab. New O2 and warm weather seems to help. Check the timing.

Have you tried the poached california condor eggs? Those are nice this time of the year. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
