Put my new 36" IROKS on the rear last night, and it looks like they still may rub. As near as I can tell, the frame is 8" higher than it was stock, is this normal, or are these Chevies collapsed?

No blocks.
Every one I know that runs Chevys run at least a two inch block or they build their spring perch up two inches.

Here is good info on Chevy springs;

Body Damage is Cool
i didn't use blocks either, i had chevvies in the rear and dual-shackle setup with the stock chevy shackles
and some extended shackles from 4crawler. i think i got like 2" out of them, maybe more.
i ran the 1.5" bj spacers up front and had some foward rake to it.

if you look close you can see how the shackles were set-up. i loved the chevvies. if i ever ended up doing a sas
i would've put some blocks like one or two inch. blocks make me nervous though. i considered moving the rear mount somehow
and using shackles to lift it instead. just some ideas <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

those're 34's, just for reference. and 3" body lift.

I put in 2" blocks to level out the rear because it sagged with the 4" ifs lift up front. With 2" blocks and a double shackle I'd say it had about 1" more in the rear (with 35" spare, rollbar, bumper and tools). My chevies really don't seem to like weight very much.. idk.

I also didn't get the lift I expected and my 36" SX's can and do rub sometimes. I trimmed out the front fender as you can see and then trimmed just a little off the back fender.

I'm still a little low on both front and back, I can still rub fairly bad sometimes.
I also used Sky's kit and don't have blocks, but I've toyed with the idea of putting some in. Sounds like alot of people do that after the chevy spring install, I might put 1" under there.
My chevy springs seem to carry the load OK. I think. Never noticed.
