*sorry for the loads of pictures* What do you guys think of this one ? Phil ? It's just like the pair sitting at VIB, although both one's at VIB are 5.29's. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> I can get it in (by myself) calculated landed, taxes, duty, a/c, inspection, misc dock fees, add'tional customs surprises for approx $5,800 CDN when all is said and done ready to insure at my doorstep. 92 (May build) Exceed Chassis No : V44-4023859 510,000 yen CIF in New West Grade 3.5-4. LSD, winter package, leather (not a fan but ah well). I can use the rest I had saved up for a set of arb lockers or search the wreckers for a mitsu locker, change out all fluids/filters, replace timing belt, extend diff breathers, new tires, etc.. I'm awaiting on more pictures and record history. Opinions ? *click on the pictures to go to the larger version * ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14713401649.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14713401765.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14713401753.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14713401786.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14713401767.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14713401783.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14713401774.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14713401682.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14713401640.jpg) [img]http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14713401780.jpg[/img][img]http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14713401663.jpg[/img]

Looks pretty nice in the pics - I would ask em why there's coolant on the front there, in this pic: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5552656Was rad cap leaking, or was it low and they topped it up. And if low, why? Or did they pull the cap while it was warm. Probably the latter, but worth checking. Try to get a pic of the info plate on the firewall, so you can see for sure what gears, trans number etc. You can also check paint code, in case it was changed (doubt it). Also try to see if they still have a copy of the auction sheet, if it originally went through an auction... Looks nice underneath too...

I noticed the antifreeze as well Phil. I shot them a list questions and requests for specifically detailed pictures.
Don, I got the email as well. I usually just delete those but this one I thought was worth taking a look into.
Torque, they will bubblewrap/disassemble the rack and load it into the rear with the seats folded down. That is what they explained to me.
I'm not holding my breath on anything really.
I have a deposit with William and also searching on my own.
I've learned from most of you guys that doing this involves a lot of patience which I just happen to have at the moment.
I'm sure once it hops onto a boat, I'll be counting the minutes... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
Jesse
ps. Here's my list of mods as soon as I get it insured :
1.5" Ironman suspension lift (HD torsion bars/shocks/coils) 1.5" BL (machine shop made) Running boards off / friend's fabbed smooth and clean looking sliders Aux gas tank Aux lights on roof rack 33x12.5x15 Nitro Grappler's F/R Diff & Tcase rock plates fabbed ARB locker front
Tall list, but I've already began the journey for parts and design ... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

5.258's <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> So far, four Pajero's at newwest, two Pajero's at VIB, one at Maxoverdrive and two private's are all 5.258's. What the heck is up with that ? Out of all the Pajero's I've looked at, only one was 488's. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Are the 5.29's really that bad on the road ? I can't find any decent Paj's in Japan with 488's. Seriously. 92 batch of tractor gears or something ... who knows. ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14809315321.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/14809315491.jpg)

haha must be...I'm pretty confident my 5.29's will be ok once I get some 35's under my truck. but I would hate to put big tires on an automatic, that would mess with the shift points like crazy

but I would hate to put big tires on an automatic, that would mess with the shift points like crazy Do you really think moving from 31's to 33's on at auto will make that much of a difference ? On pokuk I saw a few 'blokes' running 33+ no 529 auto's. Q: Would any of you current owners buy a LWB auto with 529's ?

Yup. Completely threw my 3.0V6 off on my LWB genI. Had to readjust the kickdown cable, and it never really was completely happy afterward. OD got turned off quite a bit.
