After researching long and hard, I decided to go with William at jdmconnection.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. He seems like a good person to deal with. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Mine's a tall order.<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />

91/92 Paj LWB
Mitsu factory locker
dual batteries
4875 vin/gears

Hope he can find one that meets my needs. Sooner the better.

Very good chance you will not find one. If you want lockers go Land Cruiser

I have seen a few "locker" pajeros up for auction over my travels of japanese sites. its not too hard to find them. your pickiness of options and such must broaden because if you want locker....you get what you get. LSD pajeros are a dime a dozen it seems.

I agree.

We'll see. We're patient. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Nothing wrong in trying. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Cheers,

Already looked a few one's he has in stock in Japan.

No factory locker or dual batteries.

We've got time to look so something will come up in the next few weeks or so.

Going to try the auctions.

FYI a second battery can be added. What you are really looking for (and this is information I got from Phil when I was looking at a Pajero) is the winter package, which along with the 2nd battery added LSD, quick start glow plugs and some other upgrades. I believe the winter package is indicated by an orange sticker on the rear door.

Yup, winter pack is highly recommended for Cdn winters... sticker is as Ed says, on rear door, RHS, near the upper hinge. Orange with red outline.

Thanks guys.

I'll keep an eye out for it and will take a picture of the one that has the 'winter' package at newwest and forward it off to William.

Can't wait to see what the auctions come up with in the next few weeks.
