Jesse, you're leaving out one important point - size availability. BFG is the only manufacturer with 33x1050 routinely available. And the difference between 1050 and 1250 width on an underpowered diesel is also night and day, in my experience.

I would also chime in on the testing, by adding that different tires work better at different pressures, and with different weights of vehicles. I have put close to 40k now on my bfgs, and before this I had Procomps. BFG is a much better multi-purpose tire, IMHO, if you adjust the pressure to the terrrain.

But you know what they say about opinions... in any event the point is moot if you want 33x1050s on a 15: for better or worse, BFG is the only game in town. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
