Getting the Wheeling Fever

My 2000 4Runner V6 currently does not complain MAF sensor(Mass Air Flow). I really need to clean it for preventive purpose because I have been using K&N filter for long time. The cross thread have been existing since 30K. I have not paid much attention on it as long as it does not cause issue. However my truck is now at 95K and I'd like to tackle the cross thread issue. Any suggestions?

Are you saying you cross threaded the mounting bolts? If so, the best thing to do is to drill and tap the threads to a larger size and replace the bolts with the appropriate new size.

Yes, one of the mounting bolts is cross threaded. Thanks for your suggestion, Adam F. I think this is something I may want to try...
